The Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM), the pioneer Supply Chain educational Institute in Sri Lanka established in 1972 and incorporated by an Act of Parliament in 1981 recently inaugurated a new Advanced Diploma course titled "Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Warehouse Management". It is a one-year course targeting professionals in the Logistics and Warehouse sector. The Course was inaugurated with 45 students at the ISMM Auditorium on 23rd August.
The Chief Guest was A.B.M.P.Abeykoon, Manager Supplies of National Water Supply & Drainage Board. Present at the inauguration were President ISMM I.G.Perera, General Secretary Dimuka Hemantha, Course Director Chapa Refaie, Professional Development & Training Committee Secretary Udaswin Daluwatte, Treasurer Dharshana Wijemanne and several other members of the Council of Management.
