The Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM), Sri Lanka’s National Professional Institute for Supply Chain Management Education, successfully hosted a high-impact workshop titled “Future-Ready Warehousing: Unlocking Efficiency and Growth Through Strategic 3PL Partnerships” on 24th June 2025.
This full-day session brought together a dynamic group of professionals from Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, and finance sectors. From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., participants engaged in in-depth discussions. The session was enriched by the expert insights of Mr. I.G. Perera, Past President of ISMM, who shared practical perspectives on warehouse transformation and 3PL integration. The event was further elevated by the distinguished presence of Prof. (Dr.) Sanath Divakara, Vice President of ISMM, and Capt. Akram Alavi (Rtd), Director of Training and Administration at ISMM. This interactive workshop served as an excellent platform for professionals to enhance their understanding of modern warehousing practices, adapt to regulatory and technological advancements, and align operations with global Supply Chain trends. It reaffirmed ISMM’s commitment to empowering industry professionals through continuous learning and professional development.
